Legendary “Hit Maker” D/R Period along with Rockboy Records Producer Jonny P produced William’s latest single “The Purge”.  While working on his forthcoming EP, William and D/R were conversing in the studio when D/R mentioned a much needed record by William expressing his frustration with the streets forgetting his skill-set as an emcee and respected reputation in the music industry…Hours later “The Purge” was born. 

With the release of his novel Gorilla Khan in March of 2012, William Young burst onto the scene with full force. Following the release of his debut novel, the Author and MC from New York was featured on a pop song titled “Take Flight” that aired on Z100 FM radio. Shortly after, he was hired as a writer for Aeons Men’s Magazine & within months from that was a co-author of a second novel, “BROOKLYN’S OWN: The Notorious A-Team!” before the close of the year. In 2013 he released a soundtrack to his novel Gorilla Khan hosted by New York DJ Kay Slay. Generating a buzz for his label U-Khan Entertainment and movement “Nasty North” he was interviewed on Sirius satellite radio channel Shade 45 about his novel and soundtrack Gorilla Khan.

In a matter of weeks, he was aired on New York station Hot 97.1 FM.  His debut album YEAR OF THE KHAN set the tone once his single “Ain’t Dying Alone” featured Papoose of Love and Hip Hop, was released. In 2016 he appeared on the cover of STRAIGHT STUNTIN Magazine for penning the authorized biography of reality Tv star PUMA of  BLACK INK CREW. This multi-talented entrepreneur is definitely not leaving a stone un-turned in his pursuit to greatness.
